FAQ

Questions, answered

Everything people ask us before they book.

Is this indoors or outdoors?

Both. We set up on any flat, clean surface — gym floors, grass, asphalt, sport courts, turf. We stay off dirt and gravel, since the ball needs a flat surface to settle on. If rain is in the forecast, we can set up inside.

How much space is needed?

Plan on roughly 10 by 5 feet per hole. Nine holes fits comfortably in most gyms, ballrooms, parking lots and back lawns. Send us your space and we’ll lay it out for you.

How many holes can I rent?

Most clients book 9 or 18 holes, but let us know if you have a different number in mind.

Do you need electricity for the glow lighting?

No. Every hole is battery powered. No outlets, no extension cords, no tripping hazards.

How many people can play?

About 40 people per hour on nine holes, and about 80 per hour on 18. If you have a bigger crowd, add holes, add hours, or rotate groups through in shifts.

Is someone from your team there the whole time?

Yes, and that’s the whole point. An attendant stays on site to hand out putters and balls, help with anything that comes up, and keep the line moving.

Can players with limited mobility join in?

Yes. We have wheelchair-accessible putters available on request — tell us what you need when you book and we’ll make sure it’s on the truck.

What ages is it good for?

All of them. We’ve had four-year-olds, high schoolers at post-prom, and grandparents in the same rotation. Putters come in kid and adult sizes.

How far do you travel?

All over Chicago and the Chicagoland suburbs — Arlington Heights, Aurora, Berwyn, Bolingbrook, Buffalo Grove, Carol Stream, Des Plaines, Downers Grove, Elmhurst, Evanston, Glenview, Hoffman Estates, Joliet, Lombard, Mount Prospect, Naperville, Northbrook, Oak Lawn, Oak Park, Orland Park, Palatine, Plainfield, Schaumburg, Skokie, Tinley Park, Vernon Hills, Wheaton, Wilmette and more. Most of our events are within 50 miles of Chicago, but we’re happy to travel further for you — let us know what you have in mind and we’ll be in touch.

What does it cost?

Nine holes for two hours is $999, and 18 holes for two hours is $1,799. Additional hours are $200 and $300 respectively. Schools and camps can also book 18 holes as a weekday drop-off for the school day at $1,499. Weddings, formal events and difficult load-ins are quoted individually. See the pricing page for details.

Can you brand it for our company or school?

Yes. Custom scorecards, custom pencils, logo golf balls, and obstacles branded to your event. Branding is quoted separately from the standard packages — tell us what you have in mind and how much lead time we have.

How do I book?

Send us your event details through the form. We’ll confirm availability and options, then you lock in the date with a credit card or a signed contract.

What happens if it rains?

If your event is outdoors, we’ll agree on a plan ahead of time. Most of the time that means moving inside — the course works just as well in a gym or a hall.

Do you do weddings?

We do, and they’re great — cocktail hour, receptions, day-after brunches. Weddings usually need us on site well before guests arrive, so they’re quoted individually.

Can we play at night?

That’s when it looks best. The LEDs really come alive after dark, which is why post-proms love us.

Can we run it ourselves?

Schools and camps can, with our weekday drop-off day rate: we deliver 18 holes in the morning, your staff runs it, and we come back to pack it out. It’s an option, not a requirement — schools and camps are just as welcome to book a hosted package with an attendant on site.

Do you have insurance?

Yes. And if your organization needs to be named on our policy, there’s no extra cost — just let us know who to name and by when.
